The 5th Annual Penn State Solar Law Symposium is aimed at individuals with a basic to intermediate understanding of photovoltaic electrical generation for the grid. The event is designed to build on the information presented at last year’s Solar Law Symposium while offering an introductory session to help newcomers to understand the basics.
This year’s event will explore timely topics including:
- Overview of large-scale solar development
- PJM’s role in utility-scale solar and the wholesale electricity market
- Solar leasing
- Ordinances related to the development of large-scale solar
- Local impacts such as stormwater, tax implications, and property values
- Ethics of solar leasing
