AI Data Centers: A Problem-Solving Approach

Loading Events

Data centers have lately seen their popularity rise quickly and sink even more quickly across the Mid-Atlantic region. Many local communities and several states have voiced unmistakable hostility to data center development. Because of their necessity to the AI buildout now unfolding with ramifications at regional, national, and global scales, however, this impasse demands our fullest attention. On November 5th in University Park, Penn State will host an interdisciplinary symposium of engineers, architects, scientists, educators, activists, citizens, and civic leaders in a candid and thought-provoking confrontation of these issues. Presented by the Center for Excellence in Energy & Environmental Law. For more information contact Professor Jamison Colburn at jec38@psu.edu.

CELP faculty and staff Hannah Wiseman, Lara Fowler, and Mike Helbing will all participate.
