The 2nd Annual Solar Law Symposium is geared for both beginning and intermediate levels of knowledge about photovoltaic electrical generation for the grid. It is designed to build upon the information presented in last year’s Solar Law Symposium, but it also includes an introductory session that will allow newcomers to meaningfully participate.
Upon completion, an attorney, government professional, educator, or other interested attendee will have a broad understanding of the legal facets of the proliferation of utility-scale solar development project proposals in Pennsylvania, as well as a sense of how development is likely to progress in coming years.
- Solar development in PA – why here, why now?
- Lessons municipal officials have learned from previous and existing solar development projects
- Special concerns posed by development projects on agricultural lands
- Expected effects of the Inflation Reduction Act on solar development
- PJM’s proposed approach for addressing the backlog of solar projects in the generation interconnection queue
